As a business owner and a wife, I know how easy it is to let your own health slide to the bottom of your to-do list. The deadlines, the emails, the dinner plans, the back-to-back meetings – it can feel like there’s just no time to prioritise YOU.
But here’s the truth: staying fit and healthy doesn’t require perfection, hours at the gym or Pilates class, or complicated meal plans. It’s about small, intentional choices that support your real life. When you’re well, everything else — your energy, your mood, your business, your relationships — thrives too.
Here are 7 simple and actionable tips that I really love to help you stay well, even when life is busy:
1. Start Your Day with Movement (Even Just 5 Minutes!)
You don’t need an hour-long workout to feel strong. A short Pilates flow, a few energising stretches, or a quick walk around the block can shift your energy and set the tone for the day.
→ Tip: Try stacking it with your morning coffee – stretch while it brews!
2. Meal Prep Lite – Think ‘Prepping for Your Future Self’
You don’t have to meal prep an entire week – just having a few healthy staples ready makes a huge difference.
→ Tip: Pre-chop veggies, mince garlic to freeze in cubes, boil a batch of eggs, or cook double at dinner to have leftovers for lunch. Little things = BIG time savers.
3. Hydrate Like a Boss!
Energy dips and brain fog? Often, it’s dehydration. Keep a water bottle near your desk or in your bag.
→ Tip: Add lemon, cucumber or mint to jazz it up if plain water feels boring.
4. Schedule Movement Like a Meeting
If it’s not scheduled, it’s so easy to skip. I sneak in little exercise blocks on my calendar, so when it rings, I move!
→ Tip: Block off 15–30 minutes in your calendar a few times a week just for movement – even if it’s walking while listening to a podcast.
5. Be Gentle with Yourself
Some days you’ll miss a workout, gobble a whole family block of chocolates, grab fast food, or feel completely off – and that’s OK. We are humans.
→ Reminder: Progress over perfection. You’re doing your best, and that’s MORE than enough!
6. Practice ‘Micro Moments’ of Mindfulness
You don’t need a silent retreat. Mindfulness can be 2-minute breathing between calls or sipping tea without your phone. I particularly love practicing box breathing throughout the day in between phone calls, emails, clients and meetings.
→ Tip: Set a gentle reminder to pause and check in with your body a few times a day.
7. Lean Into Your Support System
You’re not meant to do it all alone. Whether it’s asking your partner for help (it took me a long time to finally accept that one person cannot do all the tasks at home on top of managing life at work and ask for my husband’s help with household tasks, which he is doing beautifully now), outsourcing tasks in your business, or connecting with like-minded women during networking events – lean in! Trust me, you will not regret it. Our network is our networth.
→ Truth: You can’t pour from an empty cup. Fill yours first.
Final Thoughts:
You’re building something amazing – both in business and life. And the best version of that life is one where you feel good too.
So, for today, just pick one little habit. One walk, one healthy meal, one glass of water, one kind word to yourself. Then repeat it tomorrow. You’ve got this ❤️
What’s one healthy habit you’re committing to this week?

I believe in empowering all women, wellness for all, and a balanced, healthy and happy life, whether you are pursuing parenthood or entrepreneurship, life is about choosing to live the best you.
